This membership is per South African law where: A grow club operates as a socialized system of cannabis cultivation. Members rent private space through a sublease to cultivate cannabis for personal consumption, with BudShop acting as their professional cultivators.
This model aligns with the judgment in Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development and Others v Prince; and Others [2018] ZACC 30,
which decriminalized the possession, use, and cultivation of cannabis for personal consumption by adults in private, as supported by:
Section 14 of Chapter 2: Bill of Rights, concerning privacy.
